Iverheal 6mg Ivermectin Tablets

Iverheal 6mg Tablet is an oral antiparasitic medication formulated with the active ingredient Ivermectin. Belonging to the anthelmintic class of medications, it is indicated for the treatment of various parasitic infections in humans, including intestinal strongyloidiasis, onchocerciasis (river blindness), scabies, head lice, and filariasis.

How It Works

Ivermectin functions by selectively binding to glutamate-gated chloride ion channels in parasite nerve and muscle cells. This action increases cell membrane permeability to chloride ions, resulting in paralysis and elimination of the parasite from the body.

Indications & Uses

• Strongyloidiasis: Intestinal roundworm infections caused by Strongyloides stercoralis.
• Onchocerciasis: Parasitic infection caused by Onchocerca volvulus transmitted by blackfly bites.
• Scabies: Ectoparasitic skin condition caused by Sarcoptes scabiei mites.
• Head Lice: Pediculosis infestations unresponsive to conventional treatments.
• Filariasis: Mosquito-borne parasitic infection affecting lymphatic tissue.

Administration & Guidelines

Take orally as directed by a healthcare professional, swallowed whole with water on an empty stomach (at least 1 hour before or 2 hours after a meal). Refrain from consuming alcohol during treatment.

Store at room temperature between 15°C and 25°C (59°F–77°F). Protect from excessive heat, moisture, and direct sunlight. Keep out of reach of children.
