Anaridex 1mg contains anastrozole, a non-steroidal aromatase inhibitor. Aromatase is an enzyme involved in the production of estrogen. By inhibiting this enzyme, anastrozole lowers estrogen levels, which can help slow the growth of certain hormone-sensitive breast cancer cells.
Anastrozole is indicated for postmenopausal women with hormone-receptor-positive early breast cancer as adjuvant treatment. It is also used as first-line therapy for certain locally advanced or metastatic breast cancers and for advanced breast cancer that has progressed following tamoxifen treatment.
Anaridex 1mg is a prescription medicine and should be used according to the treatment plan established by an oncologist or other qualified healthcare professional.
