Botox 100 Units Injection

Botox 100 Units Injection, manufactured by Allergan, is an injectable medication containing purified Botulinum Toxin Type A. It is widely utilized for therapeutic and cosmetic applications to treat muscle overactivity and smooth facial lines by temporarily inhibiting the release of acetylcholine.

Primary Applications

• Cosmetic: Targets forehead lines, crow’s feet, frown lines between the eyebrows, neck bands, jawline slimming, and chin dimpling.
• Therapeutic: Used in the management of chronic migraine (≥15 headache days per month), overactive bladder, cervical dystonia, blepharospasm, strabismus, post-stroke or cerebral palsy spasticity, and axillary hyperhidrosis.

Preparation & Handling

Supplied as a single-use vial containing lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder. Must be reconstituted with sterile, preservative-free 0.9% Sodium Chloride Injection prior to administration by a qualified healthcare professional. Reconstituted solutions should be stored refrigerated between 2°C and 8°C and used within 24 hours.
