Mounjaro 15mg Injection contains tirzepatide, a dual GIP (glucose-dependent insulinotropic polypeptide) and GLP-1 (glucagon-like peptide-1) receptor agonist. It is administered once weekly by subcutaneous injection.

Tirzepatide activates both incretin pathways, helping enhance glucose-dependent insulin secretion, reduce glucagon secretion, slow gastric emptying, and regulate appetite and food intake. These actions can improve blood glucose control and may contribute to weight reduction.

The 15mg strength is the highest approved once-weekly Mounjaro dose and is reached only after gradual dose escalation through lower strengths when appropriate and tolerated. It should not be used as an initial dose. Dose selection and escalation should be determined by a healthcare professional.

Prescription Required.
