TAMOXICAN 20MG
How to Use
Tamoxican 20mg should be taken exactly as prescribed by the treating physician. Tamoxifen tablets can generally be taken with or without food and should be taken consistently at approximately the same time each day.
For some approved breast-cancer indications, the labeled dose is 20 mg once daily, while other clinical situations may require a different regimen. The appropriate dose and treatment duration depend on the diagnosis and individual treatment plan.
Do not stop tamoxifen or change the dose without consulting your doctor. Patients should also discuss other medicines and medical conditions with their healthcare professional because tamoxifen has important contraindications, warnings and drug interactions.

Tamoxican 20mg contains tamoxifen, a non-steroidal selective estrogen receptor modulator (SERM). Tamoxifen binds to estrogen receptors and can block the effects of estrogen in breast tissue. This makes it an important hormonal therapy for certain types of breast cancer where tumor growth is influenced by estrogen.
Tamoxifen is used for several clinical purposes, including the treatment of metastatic breast cancer in women and men and as adjuvant treatment for certain patients following surgery. It is also approved for ductal carcinoma in situ (DCIS) and for reducing the incidence of breast cancer in women considered to be at high risk. The potential benefit depends on factors such as hormone-receptor status and the individual patient’s clinical condition.
Because tamoxifen is a prescription oncology medicine, treatment should be determined and monitored by an appropriate healthcare professional.
