RYBELSUS 14MG contains semaglutide 14mg, a GLP-1 receptor agonist that helps regulate blood glucose and appetite.
Semaglutide mimics the activity of naturally occurring GLP-1. It increases insulin secretion when blood glucose is elevated, reduces glucagon secretion and slows gastric emptying. These effects help improve glycemic control and may reduce food intake and body weight.
The 14mg strength is generally used as a higher maintenance dose, following dose escalation from lower strengths when appropriate and tolerated.

How Semaglutide Works
Semaglutide activates GLP-1 receptors and:
- Increases insulin secretion when blood glucose is elevated
- Reduces glucagon secretion when blood glucose is elevated
- Slows gastric emptying
- Influences appetite and food intake
These effects improve glucose regulation and can contribute to reduced food intake and body weight.
Dosage
RYBELSUS treatment generally begins with 3mg once daily.
After the initial treatment period, the dose may be increased to 7mg once daily. If additional glycemic control is required and the 7mg dose is tolerated, it may subsequently be increased to 14mg once daily.
RYBELSUS 14MG should only be reached through the prescribed dose-escalation schedule. Do not start directly with 14mg unless specifically instructed by a healthcare professional.
