Mounjaro 7.5mg Injection contains tirzepatide, a dual GIP (glucose-dependent insulinotropic polypeptide) and GLP-1 (glucagon-like peptide-1) receptor agonist. It is administered once weekly by subcutaneous injection.

Tirzepatide activates both incretin pathways, helping increase glucose-dependent insulin secretion, reduce glucagon secretion, slow gastric emptying, and regulate appetite and food intake. These effects can improve blood glucose control and may contribute to weight reduction.

The 7.5mg strength is an intermediate dose used after treatment has been initiated and the patient has tolerated lower doses. Dose escalation should be individualized and performed according to the prescribing healthcare professional’s instructions.

Prescription Required.
