Mounjaro 10mg Injection contains tirzepatide, a dual GIP (glucose-dependent insulinotropic polypeptide) and GLP-1 (glucagon-like peptide-1) receptor agonist. It is administered once weekly by subcutaneous injection.
Tirzepatide works through two complementary incretin pathways. It enhances glucose-dependent insulin secretion, reduces glucagon secretion, slows gastric emptying, and influences appetite and food intake. These effects can help improve blood glucose control and may contribute to weight reduction.
The 10mg strength is a higher maintenance-dose option reached after gradual dose escalation through lower strengths when tolerated. Dose increases should only be made according to the prescribing healthcare professional’s instructions.
Prescription Required.
