Wegovy 1mg Injection contains semaglutide 1mg, a once-weekly GLP-1 receptor agonist used for chronic weight management in eligible patients. Semaglutide acts on GLP-1 receptors involved in appetite regulation and glucose metabolism. It can increase feelings of fullness, reduce hunger and decrease calorie intake, supporting weight reduction when combined with a reduced-calorie diet and regular physical activity.
The 1mg strength is part of the gradual dose-escalation schedule used to help the body adjust to semaglutide. Treatment should follow the prescribing clinician’s instructions, particularly because gastrointestinal adverse effects can occur during dose increases.
Prescription Required.
